It’s not what we can do for God but rather what God can do for you, this world is very perverse and twisted and bible prophecies point to Him soon return. One of the many reasons I do not need another human to interpret spirituality. Lucky me. I have a personal relationship with God and His son. A sham, that’s what it is. It’s another way to pander to the religious right and its constituents. I’m way past fed up with that pile of garbage and his schemes. Most presidents have also been receptive to the personal spiritual support offered by these advisors which can be beneficial to everyone. It certainly does no harm. It’s no different than having a chaplain within the police force or the fire department. Ultimately it is up to those in government to make decisions for the country, not spiritual advisors.
